Thanks to the strong support from two official organizations and also the organizers of the exhibition,China Chamber of Commerce of Import & Export of Foodstuffs, Native Produce & Animal By-Products (CFNA)and China Fruit Marketing Association (CFMA), since our inception, we have been committed to rendering a professional platform for domestic and foreign fruit industries to exchange and trade. We recognize that it’s a right time for us to embrace the challenges and opportunities ahead with a more representative name, as the event size continues to expand, and the number of international exhibitors and visitors increases significantly.

Today, we are excited to announce that, with the approval of the Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China, the original Shanghai International Fruit Expo (SIFE) has been officially renamed China International Fruit Expo (CHINA FRUIT). This important change marks an upgrade of the exhibition in all aspects, which is not only conducive to helping lift the international image of all participants, but also highlights the important role of the Chinese market in global fruit trade and contributes to the globalization of China's fruit industry.

China has set a series of strict conditions for an exhibition to include the word “China” in its name. The Ministry of Commerce of the People's Republic of China provides that, to include the word “China” in its name, the exhibition must be held for more than two consecutive sessions and have an actual exhibition area of more than 10,000 m2; and the proportions of overseas exhibitors and participating enterprises from more than three provinces in China (except where it is held) must both top 20%. After meeting the above conditions and obtaining the approval of the Ministry of Commerce, an exhibition is allowed to include the word “China” in its name.

Participants of CHINA FRUIT come from 30+ foreign countries and regions, as well as 31 provincial-level administrative regions in China. A total of 260+ enterprises and 26,000+ professionals from all over the world have gathered here and found opportunities for cooperation and development, jointly taking a solid first step towards the grand vision of “World Fruit, China Market”.

CHINA FRUIT, as the flagship exhibition of fresh fruit products in Chinese Mainland and also a professional exhibition organized by Chinese fruit practitioners themselves, will continue to keep passionate for the fruit industry and provide exhibitors and target visitors with a broader market vision, more abundant industry resources and more efficient business connection services. We are confident that CHINA FRUIT will become a significant bridge connecting the fruit industries in China and the wider world. At the same time, we will provide customized event services catering to the needs of different brands, so that a more direct connection is established between the brands and end consumers.
